Description: Casa Los Nacientes was built at the beginning of the 20th Century. During the fifties akithchen and a laundry room were added in the place where the stables used to be. A new oven was also built, replacing the old one where different types of bread and biscuits were made for the different festivals: Christmas, Carnival, Easter and Saint Peter, the local patron. This was the only oven in the area and all the neighbours would come here to make their bread and recite Cuban "décimas", still preserved, while the yeast was fermenting.
In the year 2001, the house was completely converted for rural tourism, still maintaining its traditional atmosphere.
The rural house Los Nacientes, within a small rural community, contains everything the visitor is looking for to relax and enjoy both the forests and the sea in a green and sunny enchanted island.
Los Nacientes: The two houses, Marcos and Cordero, share the following: the washing place, the barbecue, the garden, the wood oven and the oportunity of tasting "in situ" the local wine, communly known as "vino del pais" (country wine).![]() |  |

| These two rural houses, Marcos on the upper level and Cordero on the lower level, are the archway to the splendid natural location LOS NACIENTES DE MARCOS Y CORDERO, one of the main meeeting points of the palmerian people and all of our visitors. Out of this spectacular scenery of high stone walls, surrounded by forests, the crystal waters springs from everywhere, forming impressive waterfalls before entering the canal that takes it down through tunnels to the greenery of the orchards of bananas and many other exotic cultivations.
In the opposite direction, towards the sea, and also not too far from the house, you will shortly meet the deep blue sea surrounded by banana plantations. There you will find a small enclosed complex that has several natural swimming pools very well kept and equipped with all services to spend hours and hours of peacefullness in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility which has no connection to the typical crowded resorts. |
