Description: This is a small one storey country house. Its aesthetic and traditional features has been preserved through generations. It has three bedrooms, a small bathroom, kitchen-dining room and sitting room with old style sofa, traditional rocking chair and high chest of drawers. The cosy garden, blomed all the year round provides a nostalgic scenery. We feel at first sight the exquisite sensibility lying behind the old elements carefully recovered and spread throughout the house. Certainly a good alternative for your holidays, surrounded by vineyards at 250 m above the sea level.![]() | |

| Mazo: |
An area in the south-east of La Palma which includes the islands airport. Mazo stretches from the forested heights of the Cumbre Vieja mountain ridge to the rugged coastline. The Cumbre Vieja is a beautiful nature park with a large number of marked walking trails. On the coast, just a stones throw from the airport is the small Playa el Pocito beach. Here you cn watch the planes land.
The church Ntra. Sra. de Los Dolores dates from the 18th century and is a good example of a building from those times.
Every weekend there is a farmers market in Mazo, where local products can be tasted and purchased.
Take a walk through the Parque Arqueológico de Belmaco and discover the world of the ancient peoples of La Palma.
In May Mazo celebrates the festival of Corpus Christi. The streets of the village (El Pueblo) are decorated with mosaics, cloth, arches, crosses and shields made from natural products including flower petals, seeds and rice.
There are more handicrafts to be seen in the museum Casa Roja, especially embroidery which is a speciality of the island.
Lovers of spectacular views should not miss Las Toscas, at 736 metres. |

| Situation: |
| Rosa Mª is situated some 200m from the handcraft centre "El Molino", a workshop that reproduces original old ceramics of La Palma and includes an etnographic museum showing very interesting items. The landscape changes nearby Rosa María, the orchards being substituted by wineyards. No doubt we find there the best wineyard areas of all the island, El Hoyo de Mazo. Some of the turistic attractions in the nearby, quite close to this house, are the Museum of Embroidery and Corpus Christi "La Casa Roja" (Red House), the town Market "El Mercadillo", the Handcraft School of La Palma, San Blas Church and the Arqueological Park of Belmaco, all of which are worth visiting during your holidays in La Palma. |
