Omschrijving: This typical canarian house is a low one, built of basalt-stones, made with arabian tiles, that follow the shape of the strong pendings of the land. The difference of the house of Tablado give us a view open to the sea with amazing rocks.
The room is surounded by flowerbeds with geranium, roses and margaritas which give the house a special colour. It is perfect for people who want escape from the daily routine.![]() |  |

Een gebied met drakenbomen, amandelbomen, diepe ravijnen en steile kusten in het noorden van La Palma. Een ideaal wandelgebied.
Hier leefden de bewoners tot de jaren 60 van de landbouw en soms lijkt het hier of de tijd heeft stilgestaan. De windmolens en de geitenkaas herinneren nog aan deze tijd. De stilte is er enorm, het landschap romantisch.
Garafia is zeer geliefd bij wandelaars.
In het uiterste noordwesten is het dorp Santo Domingo met z'n dorpsplein en oude herenhuizen. De kerk Nuestra Señora de la Luz is een bezoek waard. In Santo Domingo vindt u ook het Museo Etnográfico Villa de Garafía.
El Tablado, het lieflijke gehucht waar nog slechts enkele tientallen Palemroos wonen, mag u niet missen.
Een strand is er ook, Fajana de Franceses. Toegangkelijk via een smal maar verhard pad.
De Roques de los Muchachos is het hoogste punt van het eiland en bekend om de sterrenwacht. Op de weg er naar toe en zeker boven indrukwekkende uitzichten. |

| El Tablado is a peaceful place with a lot of charm and nice views. Fifty years ago, there was a lot of people living there, but nowadays there is only 35. |
